San Fernando crown its new Miss City of San Fernando 2017

San Fernando, La Union – The City of San Fernando has crowned its new queen who will be the city’s ambassadress for environmental and tourism campaigns. 19 year old Donnabelle Erno has been hailed as the Miss City of San Fernando 2017 at the coronation night on March 20, at the San Fernando City Town Plaza.

The pageant highlighted the 19 lovely candidates as a remarkable example of confidence, elegance, kindness and intelligence.

During an interview, Erno outlined what she would do as the new Miss City of San Fernando 2017. “If I were given a chance to promote an advocacy, it would be to continue my 4 F’s: find your future and family first. With that advocacy, I would like to create a relationship or a stronger bond with each member of the family because I believe that a family-oriented community builds up a better country.”

Also crowned as the Top 4 candidates were: 3rd Runner Up - Alec Alexis Flores, 2nd Runner Up - Angelita Soliven, 1st Runner Up - Cris Doctolero, and Miss Barangay 2017 - Anne Margareth Sanglay.

The judges were composed of prominent personalities from the fashion and creative industry: Binibining Pilipinas 2000 Universe Ms. Nina Ricci Alagao-Flores; Ms. Anne Ong, international award-winning fashion accessory designer; one of the Philippines’ top fashion designer, Mr. Frederick Peralta; Mr. Suki Salvador, Vice President, Creative Director and Editor at One Mega Group; and Mr. Raymund Isaac, one of the country’s renowned fashion photographer.

Different celebrities heated up the stage during the coronation night including OPM Pop Sweetheart Janella Salvador and the Heir of Rap Elmo Magalona; talented young male heartthrobs from ABSCBN – Boyband PH, and the promising Climax Band.

The Miss City of San Fernando 2017 is a project of the City Government of San Fernando, which is in line with the city’s month-long celebration of their 19th founding anniversary.
